秋田県角館の祭礼である飾山囃子（おやまばやし）の山車（ヤマ）の曳きまわしは，ヤマ同志を激しくぶつけ合い，さらにはヤマの前部フレーム（舳先）を押し付け合ったまま前輪を浮かし，ぶつけ合いを継続したまま，それぞれのヤマと，それを操作する人々やそれに搭乗してお囃子を演奏している人々の“力・強さ・プライド”を競い合うゲーム性の高い祭礼の一つである。 The pulling of the floats ( oyama ) of the Oyamabayashi Festival in Kakunodate, Akita Prefecture, is a very famous traditional Japanese festival in which the floats compete with each other by raising their front wheels and repeatedly bumping into each other.
